COVID-19 Updates

Grace Health is closely monitoring the status of the COVID-19 threat to our community. We are working with public health partners at all levels to ensure protection efforts are in place for our patients and our community. Please mark this page as the place where Grace Health will give the most up to date information regarding our organization.

GRACE HEALTH UPDATES:

At this time, we are taking steps toward protecting your health by taking numerous precautions:

  • Everyone in the clinic is wearing a mask.
  • Everyone who comes into the clinic (including staff) will get their temperature taken.  Only individuals not running a fever will be allowed to enter.
  •  Hospital-grade cleaner is being used and cleaning is being performed more often.
  • Social distancing is being practiced inside the clinics.

We have implemented telehealth visits and you can call us to set up your visit at 1-866-947-9005.  Whether you are seen by your provider via telehealth or face-to-face is up to you and your provider.  This is a case-by-case decision.  We do however ask that you call us if you aren’t feeling well or if you have other questions/concerns. To help with questions and concerns related to your health, we have established a nurse hotline.  The number to call is 1-866-947-9005.  We will be providing periodic updates to this site as changes occur.

OTHER UPDATES:

  • Clinic hours have been changed to 9am – 5pm, Monday-Friday
  • Our clinics will be closed on SATURDAYS until further notice.
  • Our clinics have “screeners” at the door who are wearing protective equipment and will be conducting a brief questionnaire for those entering the building about symptoms and exposure, along with taking temperatures.
  • If someone has flu-like symptoms – a mask will be given for them to wear and the patient will be escorted directly to a designated room.  If no rooms are available, the patient will be asked to wait in their car.  When a room becomes available, a staff member will go get the patient and escort them through the side door.  We are taking multiple measures to limit exposure.
  • Grace Health has started offering telehealth visits for both primary care and behavioral health.
  • Falls Highway Clinic – being used for Lab work site only as of Wednesday, April 22nd.  As of May 26th, this location will open at 8:00am.

  • Manchester Clinic –  blocked off space in the back of the clinic with a separate entrance for lab draws beginning May 26th.

TELEHEALTH SERVICES

We are now announcing the roll out of our new telehealth program to best serve our patients and community!

With our new telehealth program, you can get connected to your healthcare provider by using a computer, an iPad, tablet or a phone from the safety of your home.

The telehealth program functions like our clinics in many ways.  Grace Health is able to provide care for patients with symptoms like sore throat, fever, cough, congestion, and respiratory problems.  The visit takes place virtually, over a computer, an iPad, tablet or phone.

When you call to set up your appointment, our staff will go through what equipment you will need, gather information about you, and then will send you information necessary via the patient portal or email.  When you call in, you will talk with a couple of different people and may experience being put on hold (like a virtual waiting room) while we serve the patient(s) in front of you.

Visits are first-come, first-serve, and wait times will vary depending on demand.  The program is led by our expert health team of board-certified providers and staffed by your same Grace Health workers you’ve come to know and trust.

Telehealth appointments are available Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm.  And though it is not required, if you have access to a thermometer, blood-pressure cuff, most recent blood glucose reading (if you have diabetes), and the most recent weight for a child being treated, Grace Health asks that you please have those things available upon calling.

For more information on telehealth or to schedule an appointment, please call 606-526-9005.

Do you think you may have Coronavirus (COVID-19)?

At this time, Grace Health clinics do NOT offer COVID-19 testing.  Patients with respiratory symptoms will be screened over the phone.  If exposure history and symptoms indicate that testing may be necessary, we will work with public health officials to determine the best method for testing.  This is the recommended best practice for physician offices and provides another layer of protection for patients who may need to come to the office for other illnesses.

Take these steps:

  1. Call Grace Health 1-866-947-9005 for a screening over the phone.
  2. Don’t go to your local emergency department for COVID-19 testing. The emergency department is only for those who need the most critical care.*

* If you have chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, a severe headache or other potentially life-threatening problems, go to the nearest emergency department or call 911.
